The quality of our products

A constant requirement

At La Mère Poulard, quality is not just checked at the end of production. It accompanies each biscuit, from the reception of raw materials to the final check. Each step is designed to guarantee recipes that are true to our requirements and to the pleasure of tasting that makes our reputation.

Checks at every stage

Before, during, and after manufacturing, our teams perform numerous checks. Baking, moisture, weight, packaging seal… each biscuit is checked to guarantee consistent quality.

A dedicated team

Quality is a matter for all our teams. Every day, they apply their expertise and high standards to recipes that meet the same quality standards, generation after generation.

Certified quality

Our biscuit factory is certified IFS Food, an international standard recognised for its requirements in terms of food safety and quality. This recognition confirms the good practices implemented daily in our workshop.

At the heart of our workshop

Butter, flour, and all the know-how of our biscuit factory.

Our biscuit factory is located right next to Mont Saint-Michel Bay, where we combine quality ingredients to create shortbread, butter biscuits, and wafers before bringing them together in gift boxes for yourself or others.

Free-range eggs

A responsible approach

At the biscuit factory, nothing is unnecessarily wasted. Our production scraps are recycled into animal feed, and our cardboard, metal, plastic, and wood waste are sorted and recycled. This is a concrete approach, carried out daily by our teams, to combine product quality with respect for the environment.

Because every detail matters

Quality doesn't stop at the recipe. It's also found in the choices we make every day to preserve the taste of our biscuits and limit our impact.

Packaging designed to last

Our freshness bags are designed to preserve all the deliciousness of our biscuits until they are enjoyed.

The cardboard boxes, made in France from recycled cardboard, are fully recyclable.

As for our famous metal tins, they are designed to live well beyond their first use: biscuit tin, memory box or decorative item, they reinvent themselves over time.
