Vintage sardines in olive oil

Three ingredients, and that's all: 75% sardines, 25% extra virgin olive oil, salt. The can weighs 115 g. The dominant flavor is that of olive oil, and the bone remains friable.

They come in four different colored cans: green, brown, blue, and yellow. The content is identical; the colors allow for variety in the appearance of the box. A can of vintage sardines can be kept for years, with the date indicated on the can. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume quickly.

Rillettes, from the sea and the countryside

Four recipes, two categories.

Sea side: Mackerel Rilletteswith 50% mackerel, Salmon with Dill Rilletteswith 35.1% smoked salmon and 16.9% salmon, and Sardine Rilletteswith 50% sardines. All three are made with fresh cream. The mackerel and sardine rillettes also include shallots, white wine, and lemon juice. 100g format.

Three 90g pâtés, all prepared with Norman pork meat and liver raised on barley flour.

How much to plan for

For an aperitif for two, a can of sardines and a pâté are enough, with bread and a few gherkins. For entertaining, you need variety: two or three rillettes from different categories, a pâté, a can of sardines, and savory shortbreads to accompany them.
